Everything Under

Everything Under, based on the Booker Prize-shortlisted (2018) book of the same name by Daisy Johnson, centres on Gretel, a woman who reunites with the mother who abandoned her. The narrative evolves as a haunting monster story first, then a twisted queer fairy tale, then a Greek tragedy.

The book was Shortlisted for the 2018 Booker Prize, Longlisted for the 2019 Desmond Elliott Prize and won the Blackwell's Fiction Book of the Year.
It was also voted Entertainment Weekly, News Statesman, Guardian and Lithub Book of the Year.  LAVA Media have optioned this property and have been developing it with Emmy nominated writer/director.

"Daisy Johnson's debut novel turns classical myth on its head and takes readers to a modern-day England unfamiliar to most. As daring as it is moving, Everything Under is a story of family and identity, of fate, language, love and belonging that leaves you unsettled and unstrung."
